Way overdue

This post is long overdue but I wanted to wait until I got some better pictures. A few weeks ago me, Katie, Deborah, and Mike Stock took a trip to California to see my friend Robert... or as I like to call him, Beto. I met Beto last summer in Hawaii and we have kept in touch ever since. When I heard that he was going to be visiting his family in Cali, I made plans to go see him and take a trip to 6 Flags. The plan was to leave on Friday night (July 28) so that we could have all day Saturday and Sunday to hang out, go to 6 Flags on Monday and then drive home on Tuesday. Well come Friday night, I found out that we didn't have a car to take and all my back up plans were falling through. I thought that we weren't going to be able to go at all. I had been planning this trip for two months and it was not working out the way I planned it. I got so depressed on Friday night that I wouldn't even go hang out with my friends, no matter how hard they tried to cheer me up. I really just layed around at my house all night.

Then on Saturday morning, Deborah called me and said that her car got fixed and asked if I was still up for going. You wouldn't believe how happy I was. I had my second chance and I couldn't pass it up. I called Katie and Mike and we all left at about noon and arrived at Beto's house at 7pm. That night we all went out to dinner, and on Sunday we went to church with Beto's family and played games and karioke all night. Then on Monday we went to 6 Flags with Beto and his 2 younger brothers, Scott and McKay... Deborah got a speeding ticket on the way to the park... oops. We stayed and played at the park until it closed and then went back to Beto's house and crashed. Tuesday we took our time getting packed up, said our last goodbyes, and then headed for home.

I'm so glad that I got to take that trip and that I have good friends who were able to go with me. I love hanging out with Beto and even though we haden't seen each other in almost a year, there was never an awkward moment. It was like we were back in Hawaii when we used to hang out every day. He's now back on the island for school. I miss him and hope that we will be able to have more times to visit in the future.

I thought you had given up on blogging, but I kept checking anyway. I am so glad you got to go and wished you had come and played at Tucker's 3 fountain party that night instead of being depressed. Anyway, keep blogging.

The butt grabbing is awesome from side of the picture girl. And are your fingers taped together to ensure you are saluting Westwood at all times?
